I love making blankets for new babies and toddlers but sometimes there just isn’t enough time to get them done before they arrive – I have a pile of half finished ones that are meant for babies that are now toddlers…! So this is a great alternative as a handmade gift that will only take an evening or two to make. Also, our little boy will definitely be getting a pair of these in his Christmas stocking this year too.
In this post you’ll find everything you need to know how to make your crochet baby boots, including materials, stitches and free written pattern for blog subscribers.

Yarn
I used King Cole Baby Alpaca DK 100% pure baby alpaca 50g/100m (1;1;2;2 balls) which is just the most beautiful yarn to work with and makes the boots as light and soft as you could hope for.
